Samee and Lara are planning to head north under the loving care of Loy, to visit Siem Reap for a few days. Steve and I are going to Kratie province to visit the family of sister Nirath and Gaye is going to join us. Marvin will probably be heading off to Kampong Speu province with some of the boy dormers to get a taste of village life. So we are all off in different directions and, God willing, at the end of next week we will resume our lessons at BEC.
Vanny is making great progress and getting lots of love and care from everyone at the dorm. He is sleeping downstairs presently so that he doesn't have to negotiate the stairs with crutches. Thank you to everyone for your prayers and love which we feel very strongly here and which continue to inspire and support us. There are many keen and committed Cambodians who love God's words so much and are learning of His great plan for their lives and ours. As I write I can hear the words of a young Cambodian man, Ratana, behind me in the room studying with Steve. It is hard to express the warmth in his voice as he reads the words from Mark 12:30-31 in his broken English...
