Cambodia Bible Education Centre

Here it is, we are finally here. 10 years in the making, with a marriage and a couple of kids thrown into the mix, Ren and I have finally moved back to Cambodia and are trying to get settled in and figure out exactly what we are doing.  Since we have been back there has been a lot going on, and while I’m not going to write a novel about what has been happening. A lot of the activity has been centred around the “farm” which is the Cambodia Sustainability Project. An awesome oasis for members of the ecclesia and visiting fieldworkers the farm is attempting to ensure the longevity of current Christadelphian projects by creating funds here through farming.  so far we ha ve 950 mango trees in the ground and a whole lot of plans to grow more including coconuts, dates and bananas.     There was an excited buzz as young and old from Phnom Penh BEC feasted together at the Farm with Alan, Ruth, Raju, and the workers from Australia, Fred Johansen, Alex Osborne, Garry & Helen, and Jonno Nutter (now living in Cambodia).     What an occasion it was and one that brought joy and fulfilment to all as the purpose of the Farm was taking shape.         Sunday School in Siem Reap,  we had around 25 to 30 Sundays school students come to class and we go to teach them at Bro So Veasna's village.  Brethren and sisters help to separate Sunday school class into two different classes. And sisters help to coordinate with students.

      On Monday 29th January morning, BEC people and Hillhouse family went to visit the Ecclesia farm in Kampong Spue province. In the Evening, Bro Raju Devis and Jonathan David cooked a yummy Indian food for us. Such a wonderful night at the farm. Thanks to everyone who was a part of it!

Our brethren and sisters and interested friends joined with visitors from Thailand, Philipines, Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, UK, Malaysia and the fieldworkers together in Phnom Penh on the last day of  2017. Our speakers are Bro Darren Tappouras and  David Zammit from Australia. They Encouraged us throughout the week as we looked at two series of studies: "The Inner Man- Be Transformed” and “The Restoration of All Things”.     On Thursday 28 th , was day 1 of the Bible School, we were welcomed and introduced to the program, and had two studies in the morning. In the evening, we also introduced to the Bethezer Dormitories and following by dinner and soccer there. On Friday 29 th , that was day 2 of the Bible School.
