It is so nice to be over in another country and to be helping more people hear about the good news. We are having an awesome time here, experiencing many new and exciting things. Cambodia is so different in many ways: the people, traffic, food, clothing, buildings, shops and lifestyles. We have found the people to be so loving and friendly. They are happy, kind, caring and welcoming. They like to laugh and we love to join them! It is so encouraging to see such excitement, interest and enthusiasm for the Truth! We have been inspired by great lessons. Helping others learn about God’s Word helps us to feel God’s love and guidance more in our lives. We feel so extremely blessed to be here.
We have both felt a little bit nervous and unsure at times, but we both feel a lot of joy and happiness from being with such beautiful people around God’s Word. We have made many awesome friendships that we hope will grow as we wait for Christ to come.
We have enjoyed spending time at the BEC, the LCDI School and the dorms. We have had heaps of fun so far!
We love being at the dorms and getting to know the dormers better. At the memorial meeting there on Sunday, we were up lifted with the sweet singing and guitar playing for the hymns! It sounded beautiful and made us feel joyful!
“This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24).
We have joined in on a lot of studies about eternal life and the resurrection. It is a moving subject and we cannot wait until Christ returns: the dead will be raised and we will have everlasting joy, peace and happiness, God willing!
There has been a buzz of excitement at the dorms and BEC as we now have a tuk-tuk! Vanny and K are the drivers and are doing a great job so far, no one has been injured!!!
On our trip back to the BEC after the morning lessons at the dorms on Tuesday, we had to take a photo of Kim preparing for his lesson, as Steve told us that it was quite rare and that everyone would have to see photographic evidence to believe it. So here you have it.

Please remember God’s beautiful Khmer children in your prayers. Rejoice and be thankful!
