Preaching Activities
After the tour finished for a
couple of days to welcome and introduce about Cambodia, we then started our
preaching plan which we had prepared beforehand. We had set 4 places for our
main areas for P2P to preach. We included General Health Lessons, First Aid
lessons, singing and of course Bible lessons as our main purpose that we all
wanted to preach.
Those 4 main places were:
- Phnom
Penh city - First day of preaching
One team who
stayed in Phnom Penh city took responsibility to teach in 3 areas including
Phnom Penh city BEC, Bethezer dormitory, Leadership Characteristic Development
Institute (LCDI) and Kampong Spue province where we run the Sunday school with
120 Kids attending late last year. We taught LCDI students Bible, First Aid and
Singing. There were about 40 students attended the class.

2. Siem Reap Province, hand work
Bro So Veasna recently just moved from Kampong
Cham province to Siem Reap for a few month ago. Because of his work situation he
needed move. He bought a small block of land and started to build a small house
but it is not finished yet he because ran out of money. When P2P went to visit
his house on the way back to Phnom Penh city, they saw his hardship living
without enough pure water to drink, no bathroom to use, no bed to sleep…etc.
P2P thought how can we help him and his family? No doubt, they came together to
discussed this issue and came up with a
brilliant idea to help him finish the important part of his house that was not
done yet such as bathroom, concrete where they can sleep without breathing in
dust anymore and digging a well for getting pure water to drink so they can
have good health. P2P contributed their own money into this project to help
them but not helping only with money, they went down there to do the work
directly by their hands. We are appreciated very much for their “no conditions’’
love.

1 3 . North
Ecclesia ( Anglong Veng, Preah Vichea and Kampong Cham provinces)
Bro
Sophorn and Bro Sophea who live and work over there had organized students from
a different areas to come for a special seminar. 44 young
people turned up for the seminar. Bro Sophorn first conducted a topic about
personal development concepts which are interspersed by Biblical examples and
parables from P2P demonstrating the wisdom of the Bible. They spent a whole
day studying, eating food, and had a lovely time together. The next day, they
went to a poor village which is a bit far from the town to preach people about
God. Next trip was to Preah Vichear province to visit our isolated sister who
live and works there. She moved there
after she graduated Uni from Phnom Penh city and got job there. P2P had a
memorial meeting with her and had a lovely dinner together. Next morning, they went
straight to Kampong Cham province to see Bro Rathana who work there and also one
important contact who has learn the Bible every weekend by a Field Worker from
the BEC. P2P taught them one hour and did another memorial meeting with them
and said goodbye to get to Phnom Penh at night in the same day of arriving.

1 4. Sihanoukville
BEC2
When
P2P arrived at Sihanoukville, the next day, they started designing a leaflet
and handout to students in different universities and schools. 1000 leaflets went
from their hand to people. Finally, students turned up to the seminar in a good
number. From that time till now, new students have been increasing for BEC2.
That was a very good job P2P had done through handout leaflets, including
advertising about BEC2.

At the end of
my report, I would like to say thank you very much for all the P2P team who
dedicated their time and money to come to Cambodia to help different kinds of
work where we all can see through these photos and of course, WCF and ACMB who
funded the project. We are members of the Ecclesia in Cambodia who appreciated
very much from the bottom of our hearts to experience what a brilliant job you
did in our country and we all hope that we will see you all on earth one more
time if not of course, in the Kingdom of God.
love in our Lord Jesus
