Well the rainy season seems to be starting…we are having a shower most afternoons which provides a short relief to the humidity. Everything looks so much fresher after a good wash and even the air seems cleaner!!??!!
We went out to LCDI on Thursday and Friday to see how the moving was going from the old site to the new. We were overwh

elmed with the energy and enthusiasm that the students have shown in helping their school. We can just imagine the reaction of high school students in Australia if told that they had to pull their school down and then rebuild it over the road. These young people are an absolute inspiration! Even the rain yesterday did not stop them, and most days they are working in temperatures around 35 degrees! Steve got some great videos of the students hard at work! We are hoping to put together a bit of a short movie for them to show on our Tuesday evening visits, once

all the moving is complete. The pictures we have included here are only a glimpse of the enormity of the task the school has undertaken. Please remember these young people in your prayers as so many of them would love to come to BEC for Bible study but often Sunday is their only opportunity, and even then we can only cater for about twenty.
We had a great evening this week when we went to Riverside (the touristy part of PP) with the dormers. Most of the students had gone home to the province for the holiday but a few stayed at the dorm, so we thought we would treat them to a night out. We organise

d tuk tuks and enjoyed an ice-cream together. Steve decided he would brave some of the local delicacies at the food market and actually ate spiders, beetles and crickets! One little boy was most impressed when he gave away the remainder of what he had bought!

We continue to love our work here and pray that you are all able to find a few dollars in your pockets to support ACBM and Bethezer. A little goes such a long way in helping us to share God’s hope with as many people in Cambodia as possible… “just as you excel in everything – in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us – see that you also excel in this grace of giving.” (2 Corinthians 8:7)
