Sunday School Kampong Spue-Building project.

Firstly I want to take chance to give thanks to our Heavenly Father for the blessing upon the effort of preaching works here in Cambodia both spiritual and physical needs. Through our eyes witnesses from year pass to new year come we can't count his blessing upon his children which is us so we are so gratefully for his continuing blessing to support the new project for Kampong Spue Sunday school building project which make more easy for the children to seat on the chairs with table over the concrete not on the floor like before and also the New Ecclesia set up in Siem Reap province which is recently just start in July. And also we never forget to give and show gratefulness to our brethren such as BEC executive, ACBM and WCF committee who works more harder to find money to support the action work, to set up short and long term spiritual plan to make sure that our brethren and sister keep growing in spiritual way and also to develop Christ's character inside each of us etc... And of course to say thanks to our local brethren and sister who help in the Ecclesia such teaching Sunday school, exporter, chairman, translator, sister class etc... We are all too importance to each other we can't do it alone if there is not support from each of you. Representative of the Phnom Penh Ecclesia I would like to say thank you very much and please keep your good work for The Lord waiting for his return to the earth 2nd.

8th Friday afternoon 9 boy dormers, 2 girl dormers, 1 ex- girl dormer and 6 brethren went to Kampong Spue province to be ready for 9th Saturday morning to help to finishing the Sunday school building project which plan to finish in last two weeks ago but everyone were busy can't go so we made it last week.

It was really good to go to the province-side without interrupted by any technology into our conversation while we having dinner. Girl dormer Channa and Srey Leak cooked us very yummy dinner when we arrived at the house then had a long talk fun with each other until midst night then bed time to be ready for the hard work next morning. We also went to hunting the snake and birth too and we caught some snake too.
Early morning Saturday everyone woke up breath in the fresh air with an happy face. Everyone were ready to work we then started work some help with cooking breakfast some help with building. work started from early morning until 10 am and had a bit rest for late breakfast then started work again 2pm rest for lunch after lunch we had a small pillow then went back to work till 4.30pm. The rest of the work which we plan nearly completed only a little bite left but we were all tired so everyone just found their one place to rest some on the hammock some on the bed and sit down had some cold drink and chat it was really good to saw young people like dormers mix with brethren work together very well. It was very clear that we need each hand to make life more easy and happy.
second dinner already prepared again by our brilliant cook Channa and Srey Leak both girl dormers. some decided to stay there one more night and only four return back to Phnom Penh.
Lastly, I would like to give thanks boy dormers and our cook Channa and Srey Leak help from their heart to help all sort of work to assist each other load. We appreciated to what you have done now and it reflexes to your future come. also thanks to our brethren who been working hard not only for physical work this time but many time already which can’t count for your love to help.

Great joys and much love in the Lord

Maybe I'm just a girl

Well, dear Readers, Things have been busy here with preparation for our seminar this weekend. Catering, printing, emailing and phoning have been occupying our hours. James is sitting opposite me on the table working on his talks for Friday. We have had quite a number of bookings for our seminar and the numbers have only been limited by the size of our premises. God willing, all will attend and we’ll have a good two days of talks and chatting. We’re planning, God willing, a boat cruise as our social activity and that should be a blast since we can have a 2 hour cruise for 50 people for only $20. Have managed to hook up skype credit and tested a mobile call to Prydie. The 5 second lag meant it was like having two random monologues in the same room. The prices was fairly reasonable, but even as 3 cents a minute the cost climbs. James spends much time out on the balcony. He gets good wireless reception. It's quite a amusing to peek through the window and see James out on the balcony wa...

God Proves the Power of Prayer Again and Again

Over the course of my five-month long Cambodia trip I had the opportunity to teach class es at the Bethezer girl dorm regularly . For th ese class es I have a translator so I just get to teach the good news ( none of this dilly-dallying about English teaching ). Our topic on this particular night was prayer. Philippians 4:6 reminded us that God is longing to hear from us just as a father lo ves to hear from his child or how we are just hanging out to get a message from someone we love. We looked at H is promises to answer ALL our prayers while we abide in Jesus Christ (John 15:7) and at Psalm 34:4 where God confidently affirms that when you find your happiness with God, H e will certainly give you more of what makes you happy (Him!). And you can pray for that happiness because God will give you anything that brings you closer to Him so never be afraid to ask! That is nothing but i ncredibly good news ! We raced through many more quotes and I had expected to strug...
