We have just got back from the Bethezer boys dorm. A group of 14 uni students and their dorm manager all attend a 6am morning prayer and Bible instruction session. In response to requests from LCDI students to study the Bible more we have started an exciting new initiative. We will provide two bicycles for four students to ride to BEC from the school twice a week. These students have shown great interest and there are more who would like to come. The ride from the LCDI school will take about half and hour. This is part of an attempt to integrate students from LCDI with students from the dorm (“dormers”). Loy has been busy cooking some great Cambodian seeds and nuts for the students, as a snack (brain food) for when they come to study…this has been a great success!
We have enjoyed our trips to the market with Loy to buy food. It is an amazing experience and we get lost in the maze of food, clothes and anything you can think of!
We are feeling so blessed to be experiencing this wonderful country and we appreciate, so much, all the encouragement and prayers we are receiving from home, particularly our brothers and sisters from our own ecclesia on the Gold Coast and our precious family.
